Machining and Welding of a Stainless Steel Jet Washer for the Aerospace Industry

Miracle Welding Inc. was contracted to build this stainless steel and aluminum mobile jet washer. Intended for the aerospace industry, the initial order required that four be built per year. Used to clean jet engine turbines; major components consisted of an aluminum and stainless steel frame and cabinets, which would support the insulated 316 stainless steel tanks within. The modular design of this product allowed for easy disassembly for service and repair.

Units had already been sold, and where scheduled to ship to Dubai and Russia for use, so a quick turn-around was essential.

Assembly required fabrication of the tanks, and all of the stainless steel and aluminum components, which were completed using our forming and machining capabilities. All of the stainless steel components where MIG and TIG welded, and the aluminum TIG welded, by Miracle's team of certified welders. Each unit was fully assembled and pressure tested, then painted and powder coated in a John Deere green.
